The Customer Brief
LED Solutions were given the job of creating cabinet accent white illumination around a group of kitchen cabinets, in order to replace current system using flourescent tubing.
What product did LED Solutions decided to use?
LED Solutions have a variety of products that would have been appropriate for this job although due to the white illumination that was required we decided to use the new Thin Rayz Xtra High Output modules. These modules come in the same format as the Sidewinder products except they use TOP LEDs which allow the modules to generate 459 Lumens of light per metre. The Thin Ryaz Xtra only come in the colour white and are used mainly for high intensity white illumination. The modules are attached to our Under FX channelling which allows them to be attached to nearly any type of surface. A 12V power supply would be required to illuminate the Thin Rayz Xtra LEDs as they are very energy efficient.
How the Thin Rayx Xtra modules were applied?
The Thin Rayz modules were applied underneath the cabinets in order to create accent lighting along the far wall. The Under FX can be easily attached underneath the cabinet and the LEDs placed inside so that they are well protected. A 12 V power supply was added to power the units put into the kitchen.

The effects have proved to be excellent as you can see from the photo above the kitchen is well illuminated and has a very modern image. Thin Rayz produces a bright and clean white light that adds class and quality to the kitchen and will be the perfect lighting product to take over the use of flourescent lighting in this way.
The power of the illumination can be seen on the walls behind and the clean white light can be seen reflecting off of the table tops, proving just how impressive the illumination can be.
