The customer brief
The customer required a modern lighting effect within their new extension that would illuminate the room thoroughly but minimise the actual appearance of the equipment itself.
What products did LED Solutions decide to use?
LED Solutions decided that the best option they could use for this job would be the new recessed downlight called Beamer Insert Adjustable. This product can be used for outdoor as well as indoor applications and comes equipped with the latest high power LEDs in monochrome and RGB. The downlight can really light up a room and open up spaces so that they look bigger creating a modern and spacious effect. The LEDs are housed in an anodised aluminium in order to produce optimum cooling in warm temperatures. One issue that people do have with recessed downlights is that they can be hard to replace although the LED Solutions range is fixed with steel screws that ensure an easy replacement if needed. The lights come in beam angles of 10 'narrow' and 30 'medium' degree.
How were the recessed lights applied?
The recessed lights were applied by cutting a hole in the ceiling and sliding the fixture in. It is held in place by spring clips.

Here is a close up photo of the LED module when attached to the ceiling. Each fitting houses a single cool white 3W LED.
The lights give a modern look to the room, and look very impressive at night. The image to the left shows the subtle effect that the downlights can achieve when dimmed, ideal for watching a movie.
The lights give out a bright illumination as shown in the picture on the left, that lights up the entire room, yet still adds that touch of quality by the equipment not being visible.
The Retail price for this particular Application
The Beamer Insert Adjustable set comes with 24 LED fixtures, power supplies, dimming equipment and a light switch. This is a high end product with an anodised aluminium casing and stainless steel springs making it a premium product for your home.
The total cost for this set that you see in the photos above came to £3,228.00
