Brightstrip

The Brightstrip module has been produced to offer a cost effective alternative to existing fluorescent tubes used in projector signs and light boxes. The Boards have been produced to maximise light output whilst generating very little heat. Brightstrip has a lot of potential in many areas of illumination such as cold refrigeration, in-store fixtures, wall washes and skirt lighting for architectural features.
As Brightstrip is low DC voltage, a low DC voltage line can be run to the strip removing the need for temperature sensitive ballasts and expensive installation using electrical contractors.
BrightStrips are in parallel so you only need to wire power into one end. It is important to note however that each board contains groups of LEDs and resistors that are mounted in series. If you cut the board within these loops you may loose the illumination from the remaining one or two.
BrightStrip is a 12V system as standard. If you wish to run it from a 24V power supply it is possible to wire them in series by wiring to negative from the end of the first board to the positive of the second board. Then attach the positive of the first board to the power supply along with the negative from the end of the second. The picture below shows this better.
BrightStrip comes in three sizes of module - 150mm, 300mm and 450mm
All coloured Brightstrip modules come in 20-30 degree beam angles
The white range offers a wider choice of 20, 50 and 165 degree options
| Length | Lumen Output | mA | Voltage | Power |
| 150 mm | 150 | 0,16 | 12 | 1.92 |
| 300 mm | 300 | 0.32 | 12 | 3.84 |
| 450 mm | 450 | 0.48 | 12 | 5.76 |
